A method of creating printed matter includes: an ink arrangement step of ejecting photocurable ink on a printing face of a medium by an ink-jet method so that average surface roughness is smaller than 15 µm and irradiating the ink with light to be cured; and a laminating step of attaching the protective film to the medium by bonding an adhesive layer of the protective film to the printing face and a surface of the ink, the protective film including the adhesive layer having a thickness equal to or larger than 18 µm and a base material supporting the adhesive layer.
