摘要： The invention relates to a warp and weft fabric which is intended for being integrated in the soles of footwear for the purpose of providing very safe footwear that meets safety standards as regards puncture prevention. To that end, the fabric is formed by at least 60% high tenacity yarns, where the yarns have counts between 80 and 280 tex, and where each yarn consists of filaments having a fineness between 1 and 6 Dtex. The fabric is therefore formed by between 1 and 10 warps bound with between 5 and 10 wefts and being manufactured by means of the warp and weft weaving technique for the purpose of obtaining a very compact fabric with high mechanical strength.
