摘要： A torque transfer mechanism for use as a continuously variable transmission that includes an input shaft (30, 252), a cam member (38, 248), a torque-splitting mechanism (66, 258) cooperating with the cam member, and a torque output assembly (90, 280) for coupling the torque splitting mechanism to an output shaft (120, 282) when there is substantially zero relative velocity between the moving parts to be disconnected to minimize torque feedback to the input shaft.
