In order to provide subscribers using terminals (100-103) connected to a communication network (300), various services managed by several dedicated servers (200-204), the invention consists in using a proxy device (400) having a three-tiered architecture, with one stage (430) presenting services to the terminals via the network, a stage (420) multiplexing services communicating with the presentation stage, and a stage (410) for access to the services communicating with the multiplexing stage and comprising several access modules (4100-4104) each associated with a respective dedicated server. The different services managed by the dedicated servers are multiplexed by the central stage (420) which holds sessions with subscribers without having particular knowledge concerning the services managed by the dedicated servers nor the physical characteristics of the terminals.

The invention concerns a method wherein a carrier frequency is divided into time intervals, and logic channels are formed between the base stations and the mobile terminals to support services related to said mobile terminals. Each of the logic channels is formed by recurrent time intervals allocated to at least one mobile terminal on the carrier frequency. In order to use one of the services involving periodically updated data transmission, the method consists in selecting a recurrent frequency among the several available values, as being substantially inverse to the updating of said data, and in forming a logic channel between the base station and a mobile terminal by allocating time intervals with the selected recurrent frequency on the carrier frequency.

Dadurch wird für Sprachkonferenzen keine spezielle Hardware mehr benötigt und die maximale Anzahl von Konferenzen und Konferenzteilnehmern ist nicht mehr begrenzt, da jeder Teilnehmer des Vermittlungsnetzes an einer Konferenz teilnehmen kann.

In a system of radiocommunication with mobile terminals, the invention proposes to establish a vote configuration or a simulcast configuration for intercellular handover of a communication set up between a mobile terminal (60) and a base station (11) of a current cell (10), said configuration including the current cell (10) and adjacent cells (20, 30) which are eligible for said handover, so as to enable a soft intercellular handover when the terminal (60) moves towards the adjacent cells (20, 30). The invention provides the advantage of reducing the interference level in the neighbouring cells, hence of increasing the frequency re-use rate.
