摘要: Plants and method of treating a combustion gas are presented in which NOx compounds are removed from the combustion gas to a predetermined level to thereby create a pre-cleaned combustion gas from which CO2 is removed in an absorber using an amine solvent. Preferably, the predetermined level of NOx compounds reduces nitro-amines, especially nitrosamine emission from the absorber to quantities of equal or less than 100 ppb.

摘要: A system for reducing SO 2 emissions comprises a hydrogenation reactor, a tail gas cooler, a contact condenser, a hydrolysis reactor, and an absorber. The hydrogenation reactor is configured to receive a Claus tail gas and convert at least a portion of SO 2 in the Claus tail gas to H 2 S to produce a hydrogenated Claus tail gas stream. The hydrolysis reactor is configured to convert at least a portion of COS to H 2 S. The absorber comprises an amine-based solvent and is configured to absorb at least a portion of the H 2 S and recycle the H 2 S to the Claus plant.

摘要: A lean solvent is produced from a CO2 rich solvent using heat exchange with a conditioned stream in a reboiler. A power generator generates a low pressure steam from high pressure steam. A portion of the low pressure steam is sent to a fluid conditioning unit, which conditions the low pressure steam to a temperature and pressure required to allow for the production of lean solvent from a rich solvent in a reboiler.

摘要: A LNG liquefaction plant system includes concurrent power production, wherein the refrigeration content of the refrigerant or SMR is used to liquefy and sub-cool a natural gas stream in a cold box or cryogenic exchanger. For concurrent power production, the system uses waste heat from refrigerant compression to vaporize and superheat a waste heat working fluid that in turn drives a compressor for refrigerant compression. The refrigerant may be an external SMR or an internal LNG refrigerant working fluid expanded and compressed by a twin compander arrangement.
