In one embodiment, the nozzle-containing component (50) is disposed within both the first mold part and the second mold part while the mold is closed and is at least partially disposed in the space between the first and second mold parts when the mold is open; and one of the mold parts includes a recess (56) for receiving while the mold is closed the portion of the component that is at least partially disposed between the first and second mold parts when the mold is open.
