摘要: The present invention relates to an isolated gene coding for the enzyme Glycosyl transferase 2 from Pyrococcus horikoshii OT3, the nucleotide sequence of said gene comprising or consisting of sequence SEQ ID NO : 1, or its homologs from hyperthermophilic Archaea.
The present invention also relates to an isolated enzyme Glycosyl transferases 2 encoded by the isolated gene, and to a plasmid vector comprising a gene coding for the enzyme Glycosyl transferase 2 from Pyrococcus horikoshii OT3, the nucleotide sequence of said gene comprising or consisting of the sequence SEQ ID NO : 1, or its homologs from hyperthermophilic Archaea.
The invention also relates to a host cell comprising a recombinant polynucleotide encoding Glycosyl transferase 2 from Pyrococcus horikoshii OT3, or its homologs from hyperthermophilic Archaea, to a process for producing sulfated glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), and to sulfated glycosaminoglycans obtained by the process and their use for producing pharmaceutical, cosmetic, nutraceutical or food products.-
