摘要: A first command is received from a virtual or physical host associated with a storage system which includes two or more hosts. The first command comprises one or more physical request page (PRP) entries associated with the non-volatile memory express (NVMe) standard. The one or more PRP entries are modified with an indication of the virtual or physical host. A second command is sent with the modified one or more PRP entries to a solid state drive (SSD). A memory request is received from the SSD, where the memory request comprises the modified one or more PRP entries. The memory request is routed to the virtual or physical host based on the indication of the virtual or physical host in the modified one or more PRP entries.

摘要: A method for receiving a WLAN data transmission includes receiving, at a first WLAN device from a remote WLAN device, a WLAN transmission including first bits that are modulated and encoded using a first MCS associated with a first modulation scheme and a first FEC coding rate. First soft-decoding metrics are computed for the first bits. A WLAN retransmission corresponding to the WLAN transmission is received. The WLAN retransmission includes second bits that are modulated and encoded using a second MCS associated with a second modulation scheme and a second FEC coding rate, the second MCS having better error performance than the first MCS. Second soft-decoding metrics are computed for the second bits. The first soft-decoding metrics and the second soft-decoding metrics are combined, to produce combined soft-decoding metrics. Data carried by the WLAN transmission is reconstructed by applying FEC decoding to the combined soft-decoding metrics.

摘要: In a method of operating a communication device that includes at least (i) a first network interface configured to operate according to a first communication protocol and (ii) a second network interface configured to operate according to a second communication protocol, the first communication interface is operated according to the first communication protocol. The first communication protocol defines a periodically repeating set of time intervals. One or more time intervals, from the set of time intervals, that meet a selection criteria are determined. The selection criteria is based on level of interference experienced by the first network interface. During the determined one or more time intervals, operation of the first network interface according to the first communication protocol is suspended, and operation of the second network interface according to the second communication protocol is enabled.

摘要: The present disclosure describes apparatuses and methods for automatically mapping virtual functions to storage media to enable single root input output virtualization. A storage media switch manages access to virtual functions that execute behind a storage media interface managed by the switch. The switch includes a host interface through which the switch receives host commands. The switch determines virtual function identifiers associated with the host commands and automatically selects the virtual functions of the storage media based on the virtual function identifiers. The switch executes the host commands over the storage media interface using the virtual functions, and after execution, responds via the host interface to each of the host commands. By automatically mapping virtual functions in this way, the switch automatically enables single root input output virtualization of storage media, including storage media that is without native support for input output virtualization.

The second OFDM symbols utilize the first tone spacing, and include a second number of non-zero tones connectively spanning a second bandwidth less than the first bandwidth. The second number of non-zero tones is less than the first number of non-zero tones.
