    摘要： An immunopotentiation agent comprising two types of peptdoglycans whose peptide portions contain acidic amino ecfds and whose polysaccharide portions contain arabinose, glucose, galactose, mannose and xylose, the first of which peptidoglycans has a molecular weight of 500,000 to 800,000 and the second of which has a molecular weight of 10,000 to 58,000 and has a higher acidic amino acid content than the fist; sald agent being obtainable by culturing basidiomy- setes mycelia on a xylose-rich solid medium, and extracting the mixture of mycelia and nutrient medium with water.
    The extract may be treated with alcohol to precipitate the agent in purer form. The two principal peptidoglycans may be separated by chromatography.
