摘要: The invention relates to a method and device for processing a print data flow (40) for producing printed images having at least two primary colors using a high performance printing system (30 to 36). The print data contained in an input print data flow (40) are supplied to a processing stage (18) as the input print data. The input print data are processed using the processing stage (18), at least one matrix image (FA1) of a first primary color being produced. Said matrix image (FA1) of the first primary color is used to produce at least one trapping information (TR1 (FA1)). The trapping information (TR1 (FA1)) so produced is stored as an output print data flow for the purpose of further processing in addition to the input print data and/or in addition to the data of the matrix image of the first primary color or is supplied to an additional processing stage.

摘要: The invention relates to a stack storage device for a printing device. The sheets that are supplied to an output unit of a printing device are stacked by the stack storage device to form a stack (30) of a predetermined height. Several of these stacked stacks of sheets are temporarily stored on a conveyor device (22) of the inventive stack storage device. This is a simple means of obtaining a considerable sheet capacity while keeping the stack size of the individual stacks (30) of sheets relatively small so that they are easy to handle. A considerable advantage of the invention is that it can easily be retrofitted or linked to known printing devices.

摘要: The invention relates to a printing system comprising n > 1 different stand-alone printing devices (4, 5) of various designs and comprising at least one print server (3) which receives print data from at least one print data source and which selectively distributes print data to the stand-alone printing devices (4, 5). According to the invention, the print data of a print job is subdivided into data groups (queues) by the print server (3). The data of a data group (queue) is subsequently transmitted in a group-specific manner to a stand-alone printing device (4, 5) assigned to the group. Status information of the stand-alone printing devices (4, 5) is evaluated for the process control of the print job involving multiple devices. If the printing system contains a plurality of printing devices and pre-processing and post-processing devices assigned thereto, a page-precise tracking of the printed pages is carried out. As a result, a page-precise resumption of the print operation ensues when a fault occurs in one of the devices. The invention also enables the print server to centrally configure all devices coupled in a printing system and makes it possible to flexibly configure printing systems spanning multiple locations according to requirements.

摘要: The invention relates to a device and a method for simultaneously printing on both faces of a recording medium (12). The device comprises a revolving first toner image support (78) and a revolving second toner image support (78'), means (80) for producing a first toner image, consisting of a toner that is charged with a first polarity, on the first toner image support (78), and means (80') for producing a second toner image, consisting of a toner that is likewise charged with the first polarity, on the second toner image support (78'). The device also comprises a charge shifting device (108) adapted to charge the first toner image present on the first toner image support (78) with a second polarity opposite the first polarity, and a recharging device (114) adapted to recharge the second toner image present on the second toner image support (78') with the first polarity.

摘要: The aim of the invention is to develop potential images (charge images) created on a potential image support. Said aim is achieved by delivering liquid developer to the potential image support (101) with the aid of an applicator roll (201). Said liquid developer is provided with low viscosity and is composed of a low-viscous carrier liquid with toner particles that are dispersed therein. The potential images are inked well on the potential image support at a great printing speed as a result of the high degree of movability of the toner particles in the liquid developer.
