The present invention refers to a particular device which is able to absorb all the mechanical stresses due to the use of a cam as actuating element for opening and closing pliers in a bottle rinsing machine or the like. In general the present device consists of a hollow cylinder (4) which is arranged in axis and/or parallel with the axis of symmetry of pliers (2). A piston or pushing element (5) slides in the inner chamber of the cylinder and is arranged in antagonism with a spring (6). The piston or pushing element (5) is provided with a pivot (7) carrying a roll (8) or the like which may be intercepted by an actuating cam. The piston (5) exerts an axial force on a sliding block (3) which is protected by a backing plate (9). In this way, the piston (5) provokes an opening of the gripping pliers in a cushioned manner. The two jaws of the pliers (2) are interested by the action of antifriction washers which improve the opening of the jaws. In addition, the jaws comprise an auxiliary spring (12).

The cam-shaped extensions (9) are inserted between pairs of pins (10) and (11) which are fixed to a central sliding block (12). A preloaded spring acts against the central sliding block (12) which may slide between the extensions (9) and appendixes (6) of a bracket (4) in order to open or close the jaws. The cam-shaped extensions of the jaws may be arranged with different angles according to the wished opening capacity and clamping force of the jaws.

The present patent of invention refers to a rinsing machine and preferably to a carrousel rinsing machine for treating bottles, vases or the like, which machine is provided with a control device the specific function of which is to determine the point of start for the opening of valves which are arranged along the carrousel machine as well as to determine the point of closing for such valves, there being the possibility of varying the width for the various phases of intervention. In general, the control device of the present machine comprises a series of slider valves (4) which are arranged along the pipes of nozzles (2) and are interested by an opening gear which consists of a roll (14) which is arranged on a piston (11), controlled by a photocell (15), and by an opening gear which consists of a roll (13) which is arranged on a bracket (12) or on a further control piston. Brackets (10) and (12) may be adjusted with a support (9) angularly around the axis of a central shaft on which such brackets are mounted so that both brackets may be positioned in the wished control point.
