    摘要： The invention pertains to a dental instrument used to fill a tooth cavity with light-curing materials and then cure this filling material by light, the instrument being easy to handle, working with precision unproblematically. The dental instrument consists of a light-guiding handle with an element for connection to a light source and of a translucent mouthpiece that is used for curing the light-curable filling compounds and that attaches to the handle. The mouthpiece is designed as a condenser encompassing a sheathing with light outlet windows, one of the light outlet windows taking the form of an end-face light outlet window and having a convex lens insert for focusing the light and for condensing the tooth filling.

The grip (3) is translucent and is in light-conductive connection with the translucent modelling member (2). Connectors (7) for connecting to a light source (9) are fitted at the end of the grip (3) opposite the modelling member (2).
