Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und Vorrichtungen zum Herstellen von Produkten (65) unter Verwendung cellulosehaltiger Partikel, mit denen folgende Schritte ausgeführt werden: a) Bestrahlen der Partikel mit Elektronen im Energiebereich > 1 MeV; b) Mischen der bestrahlten Partikel mit elektronenstrahlreaktivem Pulver aus einem synthetischen Polymer, insbesondere einem Thermoplast, mit Pulverpartikelgrößen c) Formen dererzeugten Mischung entsprechend der Form des herzustellenden Produktes, insbesondere Formen zu einem Vlies (56); d) Erhitzen der geformten Mischung auf 100 -180 °C; e) Pressen der geformten Mischung; und f) Bestrahlen der gepressten Mischung mit Elektronen im Energiebereich van 1 MeV bis 10 MeV sowie entsprechend gewählten Dosen und Dosisraten.
