摘要:
In a multi-feed small-diameter circular knitting machine provided with needles (4), jacks (5) and selectors (6), the selector raising cams (14) have a smaller height than the jack raising cams, so that the selectors (6) return to their selection position while the jacks (5) are still descending. The selectors (6) and jacks (5) therefore move independently after an initial raising by the selectors (6) acting on the jacks (5). The selectors (6) move within a cylinder trick portion (3a) which lies at a greater distance from the cylinder axis than the trick portion (3b) within which the needles (4) and jacks (5) move, and comprise an appendix (21) extending towards the needle cylinder (2) for engaging the jacks (5). The machine can have a larger number of selection positions than know machines for the same needle circle diameter and fineness.

The machine (1) is provided with casting-off sinkers (14) having two casting-off surfaces (15,16) which are mutually spaced in a direction which is parallel to the axis (4) of the needle cylinder (2) to form toweling stitches. The machine (1) has auxiliary jacks which are accommodated in axial grooves (3) of a needle cylinder (2) and can move, when actuated, along these grooves (3) parallel to the axis (4) of the needle cylinder (2) so as to act, with their upper end, on the casting-off sinkers (14) to move them in a direction which is radial to the needle cylinder (2) from a rearward position, in which they receive two threads engaged by the contiguous needles on a same one of the two casting-off surfaces (15,16), forming two loops of knitting of equal length, to an advanced position in the direction of the axis (4) of the needle cylinder (2), in which they receive the two threads engaged by the contiguous needles respectively on one of the casting-off surfaces (15) and on the other casting-off surface (16) so as to form two loops having mutually different lengths, i.e. toweling stitches.
摘要:
The tensioning device comprises at least two wheels (3, 4) with a peripheral race, rotatably installed, with substantial parallel axes, on a support (5), at a certain distance from each other. The support (5) can be orientated by being revolved around an axis substantially parallel to the axis of the wheels (3, 4), in order to move the wheels from a position in which they are not into contact with the thread (2) and are on opposite sides relatively to it, to a position of peripheral engagement with the thread (2). According to the angle of orientation of the support (5), the thread (2) engages a longer, or shorter, portion of the peripheral race of the wheels (3, 4), running according to an "S"-shaped, or "Z"-shaped trajectory. The larger or smaller extent of engagement determines a larger or smaller value of rolling friction, and therefore a higher or lower thread tension. By means of a programmed movement of the support (5), the thread tension value during processing can be varied according to a programmed schedule.

The main object of the invention is to obtain knitwork the density of which is not influenced by the tension of the previously formed loops (15). In the particular case of terry cloth the terries are hence particularly uniform and stable. This is achieved by operationally interposing the terry sinker (2) between two stitch sinkers (3, 21). The method for producing terry knitwork is as follows:
the first yarn (12) passes under the stitch hooks (7) while resting on the knocking-over surfaces (8) of the stitch sinkers (3, 21), and then over the terry hook (4) while resting on the terry surface (5) of the terry sinker (2); the second yarn (13) follows the first yarn (12), but instead of passing over the terry hook (4) passes along the working surface (6) of the terry sinker (2).
The method for producing wide-mesh knitwork comprises for both yarns (12, 13) a path identical to that of the first yarn (12) of the terry knitwork production method. The method for producing normal knitwork comprises for both yarns (12, 13) a path identical to that of the second yarn (13) of the terry knitwork production method.
摘要:
A device for feeding an elastically extendable yarn to hosiery knitting machines comprising a positive yarn feeder (2) composed of two mutually opposite contrarotating rollers (3,4) which have parallel axes and between which the yarn (5) to be fed passes. Elements are provided for rotationally actuating at least one of the rollers (3,4) about its own axis with a rotation rate which can vary on command. The device comprises, downstream of the positive feeder (2) along the yarn feed direction, elements (7) for detecting the tension of the yarn (5) and a programmable control and monitoring unit (8) which is operatively connected to the detector elements (7). The control and monitoring unit (8) is suitable to compare the yarn tension detected by the detector means (7) with a yarn tension which is preset in the control and monitoring unit (8). The control and monitoring unit (8) is also operatively connected to the rotary actuation means in order to vary the rotation rate of the roller of the positive feeder (2) in order to maintain within a preset tolerance range the difference between the detected yarn tension and the preset yarn tension.
