摘要： A dual feed light machine gun (1) is provided which comprises a barrel (3 a receiver (4) , a cartridge belt feed mechanism assembly (12) on top of the receiver (4) , a magazine socket (9) at the bottom side of the receiver (4) and essentially opposite the cartridge belt feed mechanism assembly (12) . The machine gun (1) comprises slide assembly (31) comprising a slide (32) which has essentially the form of a rectangular, elongated frame with an integral bolt housing (33) at the top near the rear end thereof and a gas piston (52) attached at its front end. The bolt housing houses a bolt (36) , of the open bolt type, which has a head portion with upper and lower projections (57,59) adapted, respectively, to drive a cartridge from a belt or from a magazine into the breech.

摘要： A machine gun( 1 )is provided which has a detachable barrel ( 10 ). The barrel ( 10 ) has a plurality of axially extending outer barrel ridges ( 20 ) integral with and projecting from the top of the barrel ( 10 ) near its rear. The body ( 3 ) of the machine gun ( 1 ) has a barrel catch which is integral with a barrel holding socket ( 31 ) and having a chamber ( 33 ) adapted to accommodate the barrel ridges ( 34 ) reciprocal between locking and unlocking positions. The locking pin ( 34 ) has a plurality of downward projecting, axially extending body ridges ( 35 ) which together with a stop means ( 36 ) snugly accommodate the barrel ridges when in the locked position, but intermesh with the barrel ridges ( 20 )in the unlocked position.

摘要： A fuze of the type used in a rifle grenade assembly with a striker, a rotor and a rotor lock includes one or more improvements. One pertains to the striker to prevent it from reaching a detonator-striking forward position more than once. Once it advances to the forward position it is locked in it by a spring biased locking pin. Other improvements relate to the release of the rotor by the rotor lock. The rotor remains locked, i.e. in the disarmed state even after intentional launching. It is released to assume the armed state only when the launched assembly accelerates at a certain rate toward the target.

摘要： In a rifle grenade assembly a bullet trap and bullet deflector are incorporated to enable the launching of the grenade with ball ammo. The trap is designed to trap the bullet of a fired cartridge and use the forward forces produced by the trapping to advance a fore-located deflector which in turn actuates a fuse. A non-trapped bullet enters a deflecting cavity in the deflector, thus deflecting the bullet away from the fuse and the explosives.

At some point in its downward travel main parachutes (40) are deployed as the tail and nose sections (12, 16) are ejected.
