    摘要： Treatments are disclosed which comprise formulations of one or more terpenes in aqueous solutions. No resistance to the formulation of the invention has been seen. When used on the scalp or body no extended dwell time is required. The formulations do not have unpleasant odours associated with prior art shampoo treatments for lice and are preferable on grounds of safety to neurotoxins, which are the usual active ingredients associated with prior art treatments. The formulations are directed towards providing topical preparations which may be used on the scalp and hairy body parts, a spray for use on fabrics, a dipping solution for combs and a laundry additive.

    摘要： Composition and methods for prevention and treatment of plant infections. A composition comprising a single terpene, a terpene mixture, or a liposome-terpene composition is disclosed. The composition can be a true solution of an effective amount of an effective terpene and a carrier such as water. The composition can be a suspension or emulsion of terpene, surfactant and carrier. The composition of the invention can be administered before or after on set of the disease. Administration can be, for example, by watering or injecting plants with a solution of the present invention. A true solution of terpene and water can be formed by mixing terpene and water at a solution-forming shear rate in the absence of a surfactant.

    摘要： The system provides analogue electronic sensor means, novel mechanical harness mounting means having adjustment means and provided with remote attached data-logging control means for sampling breast surface temperature and means for collecting, storing and displaying these data. The system allows breast temperatures to be measured, with great accuracy and reliability, for selected periods for up to seven days at any desired rational sampling rate. Collected breast surface temperature data may then be uploaded into a computer for elaboration using a dedicated computer program. Breast surface temperatures may be measured at a specific point during the menstrual cycle, determined by progesterone levels in the urine when the system is used to determine the risk of breast cancer occurring later in women who do not currently have the disease, or it may be used at other times for other purposes.
