Abstract: To provide a compound, a polymer, a light stabilizer composition, a resin composition, a coating material composition, an article, a sealing material, a molded article, a method for producing a weather-resistant resin composition, and a method for improving weather resistance of a synthetic resin, in which excellent weather resistance can be imparted to a resin composition. A compound represented by the following general formula (1'):

wherein n represents 1 or 2, when n is 1, X represents, for example, a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, when n is 2, X represents, for example, a substituted or unsubstituted divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms and Y represents, for example, a single bond, Z represents, for example, a single bond, R1 represents, for example, a hydrogen atom, R2 represents, for example, a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, and each of R3, R5 and R6 independently represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms.
