The invention relates to a device for the single-unit dispensing of shaped objects, such as pharmaceutical tablets. According to the invention, one end of the device is connected to a container in which the loose objects are housed and, optionally, the other end thereof is connected to a cap for receiving the dispensed objects. The inventive device comprises two coaxial parts, namely: a female-type fixed part (1) which is used to collect, organise and move the objects and to store same in a waiting line in the at least one chute; and a male-type mobile part (2) which is used to organise the single-unit removal of the objects to be dispensed in the at least one chute, by means of rotation in one direction or the other.

A moisture-absorbing polymeric material is disclosed which consists of a combination of a thermoplastic material with an absorbing agent. The thermoplastic material is chosen such that when the absorbing agent is added to the thermoplastic material in the molten state and subsequently formed into a product, the absorbing agent tends to migrate towards the surface of the moisture-absorbing polymeric material to form a migration zone, wherein the absorbing agent is more highly concentrated in the surface of the polymer material than towards the interior.
