    摘要： A vehicular seat slide device includes a lower rail, an upper rail provided to be movable relative to the lower rail along a long-side direction of the lower rail and supporting a seat above, a lock lever supported by the upper rail and configured to restrict the relative movement of the upper rail by engaging with the lower rail. The vehicular seat slide device includes a spring attached to the upper rail and biasing in such a manner that the lock lever engages with the lower rail. The spring includes a locking portion inserted in a locking hole provided at an upper edge of the upper rail and opening to a side surface of the upper rail, the locking portion is insertable into the locking hole by elastically deforming the spring body towards an inner side relative to the locking hole, the locking portion is restricted from being detached from the locking hole in an insertion direction by being locked at a peripheral edge of the locking hole due to recovery of the elastic deformation.

    摘要： In a seat sliding device having a lock mechanism disposed within an inner space defined by an upper rail and a lower rail, to tilt a lock lever from the inner space toward the outside of the rails, a torsion bar 40 is used as urging means for urging the lock lever 31 in the lock mechanism 30. When an operation lever 50 is in its inoperative state, the lock lever is urged by torsional force of the torsion bar in its locking direction, claws 32 are fitted into engaging holes 11a and 21a, from the inside of the lower rail 10 and upper rail 20 toward the outside of the rails, to be placed in its locking position. When the operation lever is operated, the lock lever is tilted against the torsional force of the torsion bar, the fitted state with the claws being fitted into the engaging holes of both rails is released, to make the upper rail movable relative to the lower rail.

    摘要： A stopper 31 includes an attachment portion 32 and a pair of flanges 33. The attachment portion 32 contacts an outer surface 12a of a bottom wall portion 12 of a lower rail 3 and is attached to the bottom wall portion 12. The flanges 33 extend from the attachment portion 32 to be passed through insertion holes 30 in the bottom wall portion 12. The flanges 33 are located in an inner space of the lower rail 3. The flanges 33 are engaged with second cut-and-raised pieces 23b formed in an upper rail 4, thereby limiting the range of movement of the upper rail 4 relative to the lower rail 3.
