摘要： A video client (101) keeps track of the user's region of interest in a panoramic video, generates information defining the user's region of interest, and communicates the information defining the user's region of interest to a server (102) as part of a request for the panoramic video. Upon receipt of the request, the server (102) selects one or more segments of one or more tile of the panoramic video corresponding with the user's region of interest, and delivers the selected segment(s) of the selected tile(s) to the client (101) in response to the request. In the video client (101), a buffer (112) temporarily stores the received segments, and a display (114) requests segments from the buffer (112) to display the user's region of interest in the panoramic video.
