摘要: The invention relates to a method and a device for determining the general fitness of a test subject. The qualitative time trace of the heart rate under a constant bodily stress of a test subject is prescribed as a mathematical function having at least one parameter dependant on a test subject. The heart rate of the test subject is measured under constant bodily stress during a time interval. The parameter or parameters of the mathematical function are determined from the measured values, and the maximum heart rate and/or the initial heart rate and/or the rise characteristic of the heart rate is determined from the function and the measured values by numerical methods. The device has an appliance for measuring the heart rate of the test subject, having a memory appliance in order to store a mathematical function for the time trace of the heart rate under bodily stress, and having a computing appliance numerically determining the maximum heart rate and/or the initial heart rate without bodily stress and/or the rise characteristic of the heart rate from the time trace of the heart rate under stress.
