    摘要： Previously existing multi-part rear wall structures comprised a multi-part rear wall installed between the rear pillars on a support structure. In the event of a side impact, therefore, not only the pillars but also the car body support structure was damaged. Accordingly, the multi-part rear wall structure (1) now comprises the vehicle pillars (3) as well as the rear wall (2) itself. This rear wall structure (1) is constructed as a separate component outside the car body support structure (4) and is only integrated in the support structure afterwards. As a result, construction and repair costs can be lowered and component weights reduced.
