The invention relates to polyalkenealcohol-polyalkoxylates of formula R-(CH2)n-(O-A)m-OH, wherein R represents a polyalkene radical with a number average molecular weight of 300 to 5000, derived from C2- to C30-alkenes, A indicates alkylene groups with 2 to 8 C-atoms, m means a number up to 200 on the condition that the oxygen in the oxalkylate radical accounts for at least 16. 5 wt. % of the number average molecular weight of the total molecule I, and n indicates the number 0 or 1. The inventive polyalkenealcohol-polyalkoxylates are suitable for use as carrier oils in compositions of fuels and lubricants.
