Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for enhancing the performance of a pesticide comprising the step of contacting an adjuvant and the pesticide, wherein the pesticide is present in a concentration of less than 10 wt% in the resulting composition containing the adjuvant and the pesticide, and wherein the adjuvant contains a guanidine of formula (A) as defined below, and/or a salt thereof. The invention also relates to a composition comprising an auxin-herbicide and said adjuvant; to a use of said adjuvant for enhancing the performance of a pesticide; and to a method of controlling undesired vegetation, which comprises allowing a herbicidal effective amount of said composition to act on plants, their habitat or on seed of said plants.

The present invention relates to a method of controlling undesired vegetation, and/or phytopathogenic fungi and/or unde-sired insect attack and/or regulating the growth of plants, which comprises the steps of A) preparing an aqueous tank mix which has a tank mix acidity of at least pH 5,0 comprising contacting a pesticide formulation, water, a base, and optionallly an auxiliary; and B) allowing a pesticidal effective amount of said tank mix to act on crops, their habitat, on the undesired vegetation, on the respective pests, and/or on seed of said crops. It also relates to a use of a base for preparing an aqueous tank mix as defined in any of claims 1 to 10 which a tank mix acidity of at least pH 5,0.

The present invention relates to a use of a copolymer comprising N-vinyllactam, and vinylimidazol or a quaternized vinylimidazol in polymerized form as dispersing agent in an aqueous composition containing a water-insoluble pesticide. Further on, it relates to an aqueous composition which contains a copolymer comprising in polymerized form at least 20 mol % N-vinyllactam, and at least 1 mol % vinylimidazol or a quaternized vinylimidazol, a water-insoluble pesticide, and a dissolved salt. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the said composition by mixing water, the water-insoluble pesticide, the salt and the copolymer. Another subject is a method for controlling phytopathogenic fungi and/or undesired plant growth and/or undesired attack by insects or mites and/or for regulating the growth of plants, where said composition is allowed to act on the particular pests, their habitat or the plants to be protected from the particular pest, the soil and/or on undesired plants and/or the useful plants and/or their habitat.

The present invention relates to compositions comprising (a1) a fungicidal triazole; and (b1) ethoxylated 2-propylheptanol having a mole average degree of ethoxylation from 7.5 to 8.5, to kits comprising the triazole and alcohol alkoxylate in separate containers, as well as to their uses in the agricultural field. The present invention also relates to use of ethoxylated 2-propylheptanol having a degree of ethoxylation from 7.5 to 8.5 as adjuvant and surfactant safener.

Liquid pesticide composition containing N-phenylsemicarbazone pesticide compounds The present invention relates to liquid pesticide compositions which contain at least one N-phenylsemicarbazone of the formula (A) wherein R1 and R2 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, CN, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 haloalkyl or C1-C4 haloalkoxy and R3 is C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 haloalkyl or C1-C4 haloalkoxy. The invention also relates to a process for preparing the liquid pesticide compositions and to spray liquors of the invention, respectively, and to their use for plant and material protection.
