Abstract:
The use of a composition of low or no tack at 20°C as an adhesive that can be adhered to itself (referred to below for short as an autoadhesive).
Abstract:
The invention relates to adhesive labels comprising a water-insoluble carrier material, which can be glued to an object by means of an adhesive substance composition and can be removed from the object again with washing liquid. The adhesive substance composition is an aqueous polymer dispersion, containing a branched or cross-linked acrylate copolymer having a glass transition temperature of less than or equal to -20ºC, composed of C 1 to C 20 alkyl(meth)acrylates as the main monomer, ethylenically unsaturated, copolymerizable C 3 - to C 6 -monocarboxylic or dicarboxylic acids, and optionally further monomers. The adhesive substance composition further comprises softeners. The branching or cross-linking of the acrylate copolymer is carried out by copolymerizing branching or cross-linking monomers, selected from monomers having at least two radically polymerizable, ethylenically unsaturated groups, or by adding aminotriazine compounds.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for bonding labels to a substrate, wherein a radiation-crosslinkable pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied to the label or to the substrate, the label and the substrate are combined and bonded to each other, the pressure-sensitive adhesive being crosslinked by radiation, e.g. with UV light, with a radiation dose of 6 to 18 mJ/cm2 prior to bonding and the pressure-sensitive adhesive having a glass-transition temperature of less than or equal to -40°C prior to crosslinking. The labels can be washed off by means of a basic, aqueous washing liquid.
Abstract:
Carrier coated face and back characterized by an exterior coating material made of a pressure sensitive mass on one side of the carrier (hereinafter referred to as the front side) and an external coating material made of a nonpolar release coating that generates a contact angle greater than 85° with water at 20°C with water on the other side of the carrier (hereinafter referred to as the backside).
