    Abstract: The invention relates to the complete anaerobic degradation of polymer mixtures having the following composition : a) 25 - 95 wt.-% of a polyhydroxyalkanoate selected from the group consisting of poly-4-hydroxybutyrates, poly-3-hydroxybutyrates, poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerates), poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyhexanoates and poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-4-hydroxybutyrates) and b) 5 - 75 wt.-% of an aliphatic polyester containing : i) 65 -100 mol %, in relation to the components i - ii, succinic acid or a succinic acid derivative; ii) 0 - 35 mol %, in relation to the components i - ii, of an aliphatic C

    36 -dicarboxylic acid, a corresponding acidic derivative or a mixture; iii) 98 - 100 mol %, in relation to the components i - ii, of a C2-C8-alkylene diol or C2-C6-oxyalkylene diol; iv) 0 - 2 wt.-%, in relation to the polymer obtained from the components i - iii, at least one polyfunctional compound containing at least two isocyanate-, isocyanurate-, oxazoline-or epoxide groups or at least three alcohol-or carboxylic acid groups.
