Each air-distribution body (13) receives the cooling air from a supply system including a telescopic duct (16), which has its ends connected by means of ball-and-socket joints to a vertical inlet duct (14), fixed to a supporting structure, and to an end duct (15), fixed to the structure of the air-distribution body (13). The system envisages fast-coupling means for connection between the aforesaid end duct (15) and the structure of the air-distribution body (31).

The kinematic arrangement comprises: - two main arms (10a, 11a) rotatably mounted on said stationary structure (6, 7), rotation of each main arm (10a, 11a) being driven by a respective said motor (15, 18), - at least a third arm (11b) articulated to one (11a) of said main arms (10a, 11a) around a first axis (C), and - a movable structure (10b) for supporting the gripping head (3), articulated both to said third arm (11b) around a second axis (D) and to the other one (10a) of the main arms (10a, 10b) . The main arms (10a, 11a) can rotate around a same rotation axis (A) or around respective axes of rotation (A', A') that are spaced apart and parallel to each other, and the first and second axes (C, D) are parallel to each other and to the axis (A) or the axes (A', A') of rotation of the main arms (10a, 10b).

Described herein is a system for feeding glass gobs, for I.S. hollow-glassware forming machines, comprising an extrusion plunger (35) and a cutting unit (38), which are directed by a control unit (12) that controls corresponding servo systems (16, 17) for forming a sequence of glass gobs, there being comprised in said sequence of glass gobs at least one first gob (G1) and a subsequent second gob (G2) having a mass different from said first gob (G1), said control system (12) being configured for directing said extrusion plunger (35) according to at least one first motion profile (P) for extruding said first gob and according to a second different motion profile (P2, P3, P4) for extruding said second gob (G2). According to the invention, said control system (12) is configured for controlling a portion (p2) prior to an instant of cutting (x t , x t2 ) of said second motion profile (P2, P3, P4), imposing that said portion (p2) should determine in the second gob (G2) a mass of glass coinciding with a mass determined, in the second gob (G2), by a corresponding portion (p) prior to a corresponding instant of cutting (x t1 ) in the first motion profile (P).
