摘要： This invention relates to a process for producing alpha-hydroxy ketones by condensation of one or more aldehydes in a liquid reaction system in the presence of an active condensation catalyst wherein the catalyst upon deactivation is reactivated by removal of water therefrom and recycled to the reaction system.
