摘要:
A pneumatic radial tire for a motorcycle enabling the safe running of the motorcycle according to various road surface conditions by making compatible wet performance, in particular, hydroplaning performance and traction performance with linearity of handling at a high level. Tilted lug grooves are (a) disposed at a tilt angle of 5 to 85° relative to a tire circumferential direction, and (b) the ratio of the minimum length Lmin thereof to the surface length W thereof along one side of a tread is 0.1 or higher. The two tilted lug groove groups are (c) formed of two or more tilted lug grooves disposed approximately parallel with each other, (d) formed of a first tilted lug groove group (G1) formed in a chevron shape laterally on the surface of the tread and a second tilted lug groove group (G2) formed in a reverse chevron shape. (e) The groups (G1) and the groups (G2) are alternately disposed in the circumferential direction. (f) The groups (G1) and the groups (G2) are alternately disposed on both sides of the equator of the tire symmetric with respect to the equator of the tire and with an offset in the circumferential direction.
摘要:
A pneumatic radial tire for a motorcycle capable of increasing stability in turning by making compatible grounding performance with lateral rigidity at a high level. A mono-spiral belt (MSB) (3) comprises steel cords of 5.9 Pa or higher in tensile rupture strength. The value Tc of the driven number of cords in the MSB (for each 25 mm in width) at the equator of the tire and the value Ts thereof at the shoulder parts thereof meet the requirements of 17 = Tc = 24 and 0.6 = Ts/Tc = 0.9. The disposed width BW of the cords in the MSB meets the requirement of 0.6 = BW/TW = 1.0. At least one textile reinforced layer having a tensile rupture strength of 5.9 Pa or higher is disposed at both ends of the MSB overlappingly with the MSB. The overlapped amount of the MSB with the textile reinforced layer is 4 to 10 times the diameter D of the steel cords in the MSB.

Provided is a pneumatic motorcycle tire in which, without compromising the stability during running, other performances such as light-weight are improved. Provided is a pneumatic motorcycle tire which comprises a tread portion 1, and side wall portions 2 and bead portions 3 extending from both sides of the tread portion, and whose rotation direction when the tire is mounted on a vehicle is designated. A tire tread is provided with a bent main groove composed of: a first groove 11 extending toward the designated tire rotation direction inclined outside in the tread width direction in a contact region during straight running; a second groove 12 extending from the end portion of the first groove in the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction toward the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction inclined outside in the tire width direction; and a third groove 13 extending from the end portion of the second groove in the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction toward the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction inclined outside in the tire width direction, and the bent main groove is formed such that an inclination angle ¸ 3 with respect to the tire circumferential direction of the third groove is larger than an inclination angle ¸ 2 with respect to the tire circumferential direction of the second groove.

Provided is a pneumatic motorcycle tire in which both economic efficiency and stability are attained. Provided is a pneumatic motorcycle tire which includes a tread portion 1, and side wall portions 2 and bead portions 3, and whose rotation direction when the tire is mounted on a vehicle is designated. A tire tread includes a branched main groove 10 composed of a first groove 11 extending inclined toward the designated tire rotation direction on one side in the tire width direction, a second groove 12 extending from an end portion of the first groove in the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction inclined toward the designated tire rotation direction on the other end in the tire width direction, and a third groove 13 extending from an end portion of the first groove and second groove in the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction toward the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction, wherein a connecting portion 10A of the first groove and the second groove is formed in a curved shape, the first groove and the second groove are formed in a curved line having the center of the radius of curvature on the side of the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction, and the third groove is formed in a curved line having the center of the radius of curvature on the side of the tire center portion.
