Also there is provided a method for manufacturing the asphalt modifier by kneading a carbon black and an oil with a thermoplastic elastomer, in which the kneading temperature is set at 80 to 200 °C, the kneading time is set at 1 to 30 minutes, the shear rate during kneading is set at 50 to 800 (sec -1 ), and the shear energy acting per cm 3 of carbon black during kneading is set at 200 to 3000 (J/cm 3 ).
