摘要： There is provided a bed (10) with air adjustable elevation components having a generally rectangular foundation, a mattress (14) having a plurality of sections, and an air chamber under each section of the mattress that is to be raised. The contour and shape of the mattress is controlled by inflating and deflating the each air chamber (30, 32) to elevate and incline the section of the mattress. The mattress is formed of connecting sections including a back section (16), a buttock section (18) adjacent the back section. Adjacent the buttock section (18) is an upper leg section (20) and adjacent upper leg section (20) is lower leg section (22). The sides of upper leg section and adjacent upper leg section is lower leg section. The sides of upper leg section and lower leg section abutting each other are formed at an angle such that when the leg sections of the mattress (14) are in a non-elevated position a V-shaped cut out area (24) is formed between the two sections. The air chambers are connected to a pump (36) and a controller (46) is provided to easily inflate and deflated the chambers, together or separately, with compressed air.

摘要： A device for use with a respiratory mask comprises a pillow having at least one recess structured to receive the mask so that the pillow does not exert substantial pressure on the mask, and a cover that at least partially covers the exterior surface of the pillow and substantially follows the contours of the at least one recess. A method of using a respiratory mask comprises providing a pillow having at least one recess, positioning a cover on the pillow so that the cover substantially follows the contours of the at least one recess, positioning a respiratory mask on the head of a user, and positioning the user's head on the cover and pillow such that the mask is received in the at least one recess so that the pillow and cover do not exert substantial pressure on the mask.

摘要： There is provided a back support system (10) of three foam members (12, 22, 32) serving as a piece of recreational or therapeutic furniture. The three foam support members members (12, 22, 32) each have a generally rectangular shape when viewed from above and a triangular shaped when viewed from their sides and vary in size. The unique triangular shape of each of the three members members (12, 22, 32) enables the pieces to be assembled in a variety of positions depending upon the desires of the user. For example, one of the triangular pieces (12) may be positioned to fit underneath the back and head area of the user while the second member (22) may be placed under the legs of the user to lift the knee area and the third and smallest member (32) may be placed under the lower leg area to keep the feet in an elevated position. Each cushion is made of a resilient foam polymeric material that is covered with a protective fabric. When positioning the members, the members members (12, 22, 32) may be held in place by fabric hinges (40) having various widths and zippers incorporated therein to allow the three pieces members (12, 22, 32) to be used separately or together. When the three members members (12, 22, 32) are folded to nest together, a unitary object is formed for easy shipment or storage.
