摘要: The present invention discloses a cushion member for a patient interface for delivery of a supply of pressurised air or breathable gas to an entrance of a patient's airways, the cushion member comprising: at least one retaining structure for repeatable engagement with and disengagement from a frame member; and a seal-forming structure having a nasal opening to provide pressurized gas to both nares of the patient and a plenum chamber formed in one piece, the seal-forming structure configured to seal around an inferior periphery of the patient's nose, and the seal-forming structure and plenum chamber permanently connected to the at least one retaining structure; wherein the seal-forming structure is made from a first material and the at least one retaining structure is made from a second material with different mechanical characteristics from the first material and the second material is more rigid than the first material; and wherein an increase in air pressure within the cushion member causes a sealing force between the seal-forming structure and the frame member to increase.

摘要: A vent (15) for venting exhaust gases from a component of a respiratory therapy system is provided, comprising:
a substrate 15A having an inner surface and an outer surface,
at least one vent hole 17 extending through the substrate 15A and having a vent hole circumference, the vent hole 17 comprising an exhaust gas inlet 25 at the inner margin of the substrate 15A and an exhaust gas outlet 23 at an outer margin of the substrate 15A. The vent hole 17 further comprises a sidewall 17A extending between the exhaust gas inlet 25 and the exhaust gas outlet 23. The exhaust gas inlet and 25 the exhaust gas outlet 23 have different diameters such that the sidewall of the vent hole 17 is inclined at an angle of inclination between the exhaust gas inlet 25 and the exhaust gas outlet 23. The angle of inclination of the inclined side wall of the vent is non-constant around the vent hole 17 circumference.-

摘要: The present invention discloses a method of monitoring use of a respiratory pressure therapy device for treating a respiratory disorder of a patient, the method comprising receiving data representing a compliance prediction about the progress of the respiratory therapy, wherein the data representing the compliance prediction comprises a score indicating a probability that the patient will be compliant with a predetermined compliance rule, wherein the score is generated by applying a compliance model, determining whether an action is needed, comprising determining whether the score has been less than or equal to a first threshold, and less than or equal to a score computed at a previous session, for a number of sessions equal to a first count threshold, determining whether the score is not greater than the score computed at the previous session, selecting an action with the processor to improve the respiratory therapy based on the data representing the compliance prediction; and taking or prompting the selected action with the processor to improve the respiratory therapy, wherein taking or prompting the selected action comprises sending a control command to the respiratory pressure therapy device to change one or more settings, sending a message to a patient computing device to prompt the patient to adjust one or more settings of the respiratory pressure therapy device, and/or sending a message to a health care provider to prompt a technician or health care professional to be dispatched to the patient to adjust one or more settings of the respiratory pressure therapy device.
