The parasitic element may be selectively switchable between floating and grounded states. The multiple-band antenna may include a second radiator (34) insulated from the first radiator.

The controller circuit can analyze the operational data to determine an operational data differential between the at least two of the plurality of antennas. The controller circuit selects a use case for the communication device from among a group of use cases stored in the memory based on the operational data differential. Additional embodiments are disclosed.
