A method includes coupling a printed circuit board (PCB) and a first conductive sheet to a pressure plate to form an antenna sub-assembly. The first conductive sheet (110) defines a first plurality of openings (112) and includes a first plurality of bumps (212). At least one opening of the first plurality of openings is surrounded by a set of bumps of the first plurality of bumps. The method includes coupling the antenna sub-assembly to a cover to form an antenna assembly.

An antenna apparatus having a device carrier (130) made of a magneto-dielectric material is provided. The antenna apparatus includes a device carrier having a magnetic carrier made of a magneto-dielectric material, and an antenna device (140) connectable to a power source through a feeding point (141) of one end portion and extended from the feeding point to pass through a surface of the magnetic carrier and operable in a resonant frequency band when power is supplied through the feeding point. Therefore, by forming at least a portion of the device carrier with a magnetic carrier, an operating performance of the antenna apparatus can be improved.

The present invention discloses a method for producing a portable data carrier in a continuous manner, comprising the following steps: * - providing at least one sheet material (2) in roll form, * - unrolling at least one first sheet material, * - wherein at least one first sheet material is coated with an adhesive at least partially on at least one side (6, 8), * - wherein at least the first sheet material is scored, on at least one side, along at least one folding edge (16, 18), * - wherein at least the first sheet material is folded together precisely along at least one folding edge and is adhesively bonded, * - wherein sheet material is folded together in the direction of the side which is coated with adhesive, * - wherein the adhesive-coated side is arranged on the opposite side of the sheet material, which has at least one scored folding edge along which folding takes place.
