The separate element (30, 40) is connected to the main device element (10, 20) via a coupling (23, 33). Said coupling (23, 33) is designed to open under the effect of forces that exceed a minimum force. When the hair removal device (100) is dropped, the separate element (30, 40) is not damaged despite the comparatively high weight of the hair removal device.
