摘要： Provided is a developer replenishing cartridge excellent in accuracy with which an image forming apparatus is replenished with a developer irrespective of a use environment even when the developer is in a consolidated state. The developer replenishing cartridge includes: a developer replenishing container and a developer, being removably mountable to a developer replenishing apparatus; in which: the developer replenishing container includes a pump portion that operates so that a state where the internal pressure of a developer containing portion is lower than the atmospheric pressure and a state where the pressure is higher than the atmospheric pressure alternately repeatedly switch with each other; and the developer contains toner having a uniaxial collapse stress at a maximum consolidation stress of 10.0 kPa, of 2.5 kPa or more and 3.5 kPa or less.

摘要： In a color toner having toner particles which have toner base particles containing a binder resin, a colorant and a wax, and inorganic fine particles, (i) in the toner base particles, particles having a circle-equivalent diameter of 3.00 µm or more as measured with a flow type particle image analyzer have an average circularity of from 0.920 or more to less than 0.950, (ii) in the particles having a circle-equivalent diameter of 3.00 µm or more in the toner base particles, particles having a circularity of 0.960 or more are in a number frequency cumulative value of 40% or less; and (iii) in the particles having a circle-equivalent diameter of 3.00 µm or more in the toner base particles, particles having a circularity of 0.920 or less are in a number frequency cumulative value of 30% or less. Also disclosed is a full-color image forming method making use of the toner.

摘要： A magnetic toner is composed of a magnetic toner particle containing at least a binding resin and a magnetic material. The magnetic material is composed of a magnetic iron oxide containing 0.10% to 4.00% by weight of an element α belonging to the third period onwards in the long-period-type Periodic Table and having an electronegativity of 1.0 to 2.5. The solubility S 1 of the element α in the magnetic material at an iron solubility of 0% to 20% lies in a range from 10% to less than 44%, the solubility S 2 of the element α in the magnetic material at an iron solubility of 80% to 100% lies in a range from 5% to less than 30%. The magnetic material contains (i) 60% by number or more of a type of multinuclear magnetic iron oxide particle based on magnetic iron oxide particles, or (ii) 60% by number or more in total, based on magnetic iron oxide particles, of at least one type of magnetic iron oxide particle selected from the group consisting of polyhedral magnetic iron oxide particles having faces at ridgeline portions of hexahedron and polyhedral magnetic iron oxide particles having faces at ridgeline portions of octahedron, in combination with a type of multinuclear magnetic iron oxide particle. An image forming method includes a step of forming an electrostatic image on a latent image carrier and a step of developing the electrostatic image with a magnetic toner to form a magnetic toner image.

摘要： In a toner having toner particles having at least a binder resin and a colorant, the binder resin in the toner contains at least i) a vinyl resin formed of a vinyl resin having at least a carboxyl group and a vinyl resin having at least an epoxy group, and having a cross-linked structure formed by the reaction of the carboxyl group of the former with the epoxy group of the latter, and ii) a copolymer having an aliphatic conjugated diene compound as a monomer component; and the binder resin in the toner has a THF-insoluble matter in a content of from 0.1% by weight to 60% by weight, and the copolymer having an aliphatic conjugated diene compound as a monomer component is incorporated in an o-dichlorobenzene-soluble matter of the THF-insoluble matter. This toner has superior developing stability and running performance in high-speed machines, and can keep fixing separation claws from contamination.
