The device (2) contains, additionally to gas G, a liquid/solid phase-change material M having a solidification temperature TS lower than the working cold production temperature TU. The invention is useful for freezing various products or for producing cold water or ice cubes.

The invention concerns a method for regenerating a particulate filter (2) for exhaust line (1), which consists in heating the particles lining the filter to bring them to a temperature higher than their combustion temperature. The invention is characterized in that it consists in: generating the heat required for heating said particles by adding to a first solid compound present in a reactor (6) a second compound in gas form combining with said first compound to form a third solid compound by exothermal reaction; and using the heat resulting from the combustion of said particles to regenerate said first solid compound and said second compound by reverse endothermal reaction of said exothermal reaction. The invention also concerns an exhaust line (1) and a particulate filter (2) for implementing said method.

The invention concerns a method for using a thermochemical transformer comprising a reactor (1) containing a solid (S) designed to react with a gas (G) according to a reversible exothermal sorption, a device (2) where occurs a reversible phenomenon involving said gas (G), means (4) for alternately communicating the device (2) with the reactor (1) and isolating them, the equilibrium curve of the reversible phenomenon being in a lower temperature domain, for an identical pressure, than that of the equilibrium curve of the reversible sorption in the Clausius-Clapeyron equation. The method consists in communicating the heat released from said reactor (1) to a reactor (3) for initiating and/or promoting an exothermal reaction, and in using the heat released by said exothermal reaction to regenerate the solid (S). The invention also concerns a device for implementing said method.

The invention relates to a method and installation for producing cold and/or heat, in the place where the latter are to be used, from one or more heat energy sources. The inventive method is carried out in an installation comprising two or three assemblies of two reactors in which reversible phenomena involving a gas take place, said phenomena being exothermic in the sense of synthesis and endothermic in the sense of decomposition. The energy for the operation of the installation is supplied by the low temperature reactor of one or two assemblies. The invention is suitable for the remote production of cold or heat by means of the transport of gas at ambient temperature.
