摘要: The invention provides a positioning apparatus (17) for a rotary combine harvester (100) having a threshing concave (6a) and a separation grate (6b). The apparatus (17) has a concave adjustor mechanism for adjusting a threshing gap between the threshing concave (6a) and a rotor or rotors (5) of the harvester (100). The concave adjustor mechanism has a concave actuator (33) including a concave hydraulic cylinder having an adjustable hydraulic pressure to cause rotation of a concave control arm (31) so as to control a position of the threshing concave (6a). The apparatus (17) also has a grate adjustor mechanism for adjusting a separation gap between the separation grate (6b) and the rotor or rotors (5) of the harvester (100). The grate actuator mechanism has a grate actuator (330) including a grate hydraulic cylinder having an adjustable hydraulic pressure to cause rotation of the grate control arm (310) so as to control a position of the separation grate (6b). The concave hydraulic cylinder and the grate hydraulic cylinder both extend in a longitudinal direction (X) of the apparatus (17). Advantageously, the threshing and separation gaps may be adjusted independently and relatively quickly. Also advantageously, the invention provides a compact, space-saving layout for the apparatus (17).

摘要: The present invention is related to a combine harvester comprising a modular grain handling section for threshing and separating grain kernels from a harvested grain crop. The modular grain handling section comprises a transverse stage, a first rotary stage, and a second rotary stage. The transverse stage comprises a rotatable transverse drum and a transverse concave arranged in parallel thereto, the transverse drum and/or the transverse concave being configurable to selectively operate the transverse stage as either a feeding stage or a threshing stage. The first rotary stage comprises a first end of a rotatable longitudinal drum and a first longitudinal concave arranged in parallel thereto, the first end of the longitudinal drum and/or the first longitudinal concave being configurable to selectively operate the first rotary stage as either a threshing stage or a separation stage. The second rotary stage comprises a second end of the longitudinal drum and a second longitudinal concave arranged in parallel thereto, the second end of the longitudinal drum and the second longitudinal concave being configured to operate the second rotary stage as a separation stage.

摘要: A harvester according to the invention comprises a header (1) attached at the front face of a feeder (8) mounted at the front of the main harvester body. The main driveline of the harvester is coupled to the driveline of the header by a releasable clutch, the first part (24) thereof being located at the side of the feeder housing (11). The second clutch part (25) is rotatably coupled to a header driveshaft. According to the invention, the header (1) comprises a spring-operated assembly comprising a holder (30) that is pivotably connected to the header frame and a support arm (31) that is movable relative to the holder along its own longitudinal axis.
The second clutch part (25) is pivotably connected to one end of the support arm (31). A spring (32) maintains the support arm in a position lying upwards of the first clutch part (24) when the header driveline is decoupled from the main driveline. The holder (30) is pivotable according to sufficient degrees of freedom to allow pulling the second clutch part (25) from the upward position against the spring force and coupling it to the first clutch part (24). The spring-operated assembly furthermore enables the movement of the header (1) relative to the feeder according to one or two degrees of freedom, while the clutch parts remain interlocked.
