A server device (2) includes a communication section (2a), an enemy vitality management section (2b), a fight application accepting section (2c), an enemy vitality determination section (2d), a first mode execution section (2e), a first enemy vitality transmission section (2f), an enemy vitality updating section (2g), and a second mode execution section (2h), and operates in a second mode as a second enemy vitality transmission section (2i) which transmits a predetermined vitality to the game device, and an enemy vitality updating limiting section (2j) which limits updating of the vitality of the enemy character based on the damage value received from the game device.
