摘要： Delivery nozzle for delivering molten metal into a casting pool of a strip caster has an elongated nozzle body (11) forming a trough to receive the molten metal and side outlet openings (23) spaced along the nozzle body to discharge molten metal from the trough laterally outwardly from side walls (15) of the nozzle body. Side walls (15) extend below outlet opening (23) to converge and meet at a lower extremity (32) of the nozzle, so forming a bottom part (30) of the nozzle body with an external surface configured to inhibit entrapment of gas bubbles under the nozzle trough in a casting pool.
