摘要: The invention relates to a spinal implant (1) comprising an upper (2) and a lower end plate (3) connected by inner (50) and outer lateral walls (4), said outer lateral walls (4) forming an anterior wall (4a), a posterior wall (4b) and two longitudinal walls (4c), said inner lateral walls (50) encompassing a receiving space, and engagement elements (6) being arranged on and projecting from said upper (2) and lower end plates (3). According to the invention, in order to avoid wear and abrasion when implanted and to improve ingrowth of the spinal implant (1) into the tissue, said spinal implant consists of a ceramic material and carries a porous ceramic foam (15) in at least some sub-sections.
