摘要： A power hand tool (10) has a body (100) and an electric motor with gears for driving a tool implement to act upon a workpiece in an operative direction, including a handle (200) for gripping by the hand of a user. The handle (200) has a portion (220) facing in a non-operative direction opposite to the operative direction. The handle portion (220) is resiliently deferrable to absorb and thus reduce reaction shock acting upon the palm of the user's hand during operation of the tool (10). The portion (220) is part of a detachable cover (210) that is fixed on the handle (200) by a latching device (300). The latching device (300) includes a release member (320) that is manually operable without the use of a specific tool to release the latching device (300) and in turn the cover (210).
