摘要： A seedling transportation apparatus for a transplantation machine transports a seedling tray not in an upright condition or in a curved or bent condition but in a horizontal condition. The seedling transportation apparatus includes a seedling taking out apparatus (B) for taking out a seedling (P) upwardly from a seedling tray (T) having seedling accommodating cells (Ta) in which seedlings (P) are accommodated, a tray transportation apparatus (C) having a horizontal transport path for transporting the seedling tray (T) toward said seedling taking out apparatus (B), a seedling carrying out conveyor (D) disposed at a location higher than said horizontal transport path of said tray transportation apparatus (C), and a transferring apparatus (E) for transferring the seedling (P) taken out by said seedling taking out apparatus (B) onto said seedling carrying out conveyor (D).

摘要： A method and a device for picking up seedlings from a seedling tray (T) is capable of certainly pick-up the seedling by accurately arranging seedling storage cells (Ta) in opposition to seedling pushing rods (60) irrespective of transporting attitude of the seedling tray. In the method, the seedling tray formed with a plurality of seedling storage cells is positioned at a predetermined position by means of tray positioning rods (51), and the seedling pushing rods are inserted into respective of the seedling storage cells with maintaining the positioned condition. The device implementing the method includes the tray positioning rods for positioning the seedling tray at the predetermined position and the seedling pushing rods performing inserting operation for respective seedling storage cells with maintaining the positioned condition of the seedling tray by the tray positioning rods.

摘要： A seedling with soil selecting and transporting apparatus for a transplanting machine can steadily and certainly discriminate good seedling with soil (P) and no good seedling with soil (P') without causing operation failure by deposition of clump of earth even if external vibration and/or slight disturbance is caused in transporting attitude of the seedling with soil. The seedling with soil selecting and transporting apparatus for a transplanting machine transports good seedling having leaf portion (P1) grown into a normal length and no good seedling (P') having leaf portion (P1') not grown into a normal length. The apparatus comprises a strip form transporting belt transporting good and no good seedling with soil in attitude fallen sideways in a condition concentrically mounting soil depositing portions on one outer side edge portion, and a clamping belt (47) clamping leaf portions of good seedling with soil among the good and no good seedling mounted on the strip form transporting belt. The strip form transporting belt (39) has one outer side edge deflected downwardly for slipping down only no good seedling having leaf portions not clamped by the clamping belt.
