摘要:
Symmetric RAFT agent for controlled radical polymerization of multi-block co-polymers for monomers with different activities The present invention is directed at a method for the preparation of a multi-block co-polymer by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomers with different activities in the presence of a chain transfer agent (CTA), wherein the innermost block of the multi-block copolymer is obtained from ethylenically unsaturated monomers having the highest reactivity toward radical addition within the multi-block copolymer. The invention is also directed at said chain transfer agent, the use thereof for preparing said multi-block copolymer, said multiblock copolymer, a process for the preparation of the chain transfer agent, and the use of said multiblock copolymer as an emulsifying or dispersing agent.

Cleaning compositions e.g. containing one or more copolymers comprising structural units a) derived from one or more monomers comprising a sulfonic acid group or a sulfonate group, and structural units b) derived from one or more monomers comprising a carboxylic acid group or a carboxylate group and structural units c) derived from one or more cationic monomers are disclosed. The cleaning compositions are e.g. suited to be used for the treatment of hard surfaces, for easier next time cleaning of hard surfaces and for preventing the build-up of limescale on hard surfaces.

The present invention relates to a compound according to Formula (3), wherein the compound comprises from 28 wt.% to 100 wt.% bio-based carbon content, relative to the total mass of carbon in the compound, measured according to standard ASTM D6866-12, Method B;
and wherein X + is a proton. The present invention also relates to a polymer obtained by polymerising at least one of said compound, in addition to processes and uses related thereto.
摘要:
The invention relates to a method for producing water-soluble or water-swellable polymers containing acryloyldimethyltaurate, neutral monomers, and monomers with carboxylate groups. The monomers undergo free radical polymerisation in precipitation in a polar solvent or solvent mixture, providing that an additional polar organic solvent is contained if the polar solvent contains 2-methyl-2-propanol, a ketone or both.
