摘要: The present invention describes the functionalization of sodium hyaluronate in a homogeneous phase with small molecules with proven inhibitory activity against membrane metalloproteins involved in the dry eye disease (MMP-2, MMP-9), in inflammatory processes at an osteoarticular level (MMP-12 and MMP-13) and in the formation of wrinkles (MMP-1 ). The hyaluronic acid derivative thus obtained (MMP- HA inhibitor) is useful for the medical treatment of dry eye and of inflammatory processes at the osteoarticular level, but also for the cosmetic treatment of skin blemishes due to aging processes.
