摘要: Additives with applications in construction chemistry comprise an organic and/or an inorganic core component (A) with rheology-enhancing properties and a shell component (B) applied to the same by virtue of physical and/or chemical interactions, which acts as a coating. Component (A) should consist of water-soluble and/or swellable and/or adsorbing compounds of a non-cellulosic type which, in the end application, develop viscosity-enhancing properties. The shell component (B) should preferably be a film-forming polymer which can release component (A) in a retarded manner during its application in construction chemistry, for example polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetate and polyethyleneglycol. Component (B) can comprise multiple layers and include at least one reactive layer. The new additive can be used as an auxiliary agent with a retarded effect in paints, but also for timing the increase in viscosity or the development of rheological properties of construction material systems based on inorganic binders.
