The method includes: obtaining a battery parameter of the traction battery, the battery parameter comprising a state of charge SOC and/or an open-circuit voltage OCV; and during a charging process of the traction battery, controlling the traction battery to discharge or stop being charged when the battery parameter of the traction battery changes by a parameter gap value, where when the battery parameter of the traction battery is in a first parameter interval, the parameter gap value is a first preset parameter gap value; and when the battery parameter of the traction battery is in a second parameter interval, the parameter gap value is a second preset parameter gap value, where the first preset parameter gap value is greater than the second preset parameter gap value, and the battery parameter in the first parameter interval is less than that in the second parameter interval.

摘要: This application relates to a liquid leak detection method and apparatus, a battery control unit, and a battery management system. The method includes: obtaining a gas concentration detection signal output separately by a plurality of target gas sensors in a battery box, where the gas concentration detection signal is used for indicating a measured gas concentration; obtaining position information of each target gas sensor in the battery box; and determining a leaking region in the battery box based on the gas concentration detection signal and the position information of each target gas sensor. To sum up, in an embodiment of this application, the leaking region in the battery box can be located by analyzing the gas concentration detection signals and position information of a plurality of target gas sensors in the battery box, so that prompt information used for indicating the leaking region can be output subsequently. In this way, maintenance personnel or a user of a vehicle containing the battery box can quickly and accurately locate the leaking region and take corresponding measures, thereby improving maintenance efficiency.

摘要: The embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the field of battery technology, and provide a battery lithium plating detection method, device, management system, battery and electric device. The lithium plating detection method includes: charging a to-be-tested battery and stopping charging after the to-be-tested battery has been charged to a first state of charge (SOC), and allowing the to-be-tested battery to rest; obtaining a first voltage of the to-be-tested battery upon completion of electrochemical equilibrium; collecting a second voltage of the to-be-tested battery; and determining that lithium plating has occurred in the to-be-tested battery in case where a difference between the second voltage and the first voltage is greater than a first voltage threshold. By means of the above, it is possible to detect whether lithium plating has occurred in a battery, and the detection efficiency is high, such that long-time lithium plating may be avoided from forming lithium dendrite to pierce the separator and result in short circuit and thermal runaway of the battery, and improve battery safety.

摘要: The present application discloses a lithium precipitation detection method for a battery pack, a computer-readable storage medium, and a power consuming apparatus, where the lithium precipitation detection method includes: sending, when a battery management module in the battery pack determines that a change in a charging voltage of the battery pack meets a predetermined condition, a charging request containing a first current to a charging pile for charging, and controlling the battery pack to be charged with the first current for a first predetermined duration and a second predetermined duration, where the first predetermined duration is equal to the second predetermined duration; obtaining, by the battery management module, a first voltage change amount within the first predetermined duration and a second voltage change amount within the second predetermined duration; and determining, when the battery management module determines that a difference between the second voltage change amount and the first voltage change amount is greater than a predetermined voltage threshold, that lithium precipitation occurs in the battery pack. The present application can detect lithium precipitation in the battery pack in a timely, simple, and efficient manner without substantially affecting the charging efficiency of the battery pack.

In the charging method for a battery pack according to embodiments of the present application, pulse discharge is performed at the moment of switching a charging current in a charging process, thereby effectively promoting the tip of precipitated lithium metal to re-enter an electrolyte, flattening lithium dendrites, and inhibiting the continuous accumulation of lithium dendrites, and improving the charging safety of the battery pack.
