In order to speed up the biooxidation processes and to reduce the number of turnings of the heaps in a biomass maturing and stabilizing process, suitable natural enzymatic mixtures have been resorted to which are prepared from vegetal components selected at the time of maximum vegetative development, i.e. during harvesting according to the use, and throwing away the withered or rotten portions, to which non-pasteurized milk is added. The preparation obtained in this way is poured onto the heap to be treated as homogeneously as possible.
