摘要： A self-cleaning device, especially for trash screening, has the shape of a grate (1). Before the grate, above the surface of in-flowing raw liquid, a screening container (7) is placed, whose one side wall is rotary fixed at its bottom edge and sticks to the grate (1) with its top edge. On the side of clean liquid outflow, two carrier belts (2) are arranged. Screenings pickups (3) are mounted with their ends to the carrier belts (2), their teeth entering the clearances between the bars of the grate (1) and protruding into the opposite side of the grate (1). The carrier belts (2) are deflected from the grate (1) plane in their section over the screening container (7) so that the length of the parts of the screenings pickup (3) teeth that protrude into the opposite side of the grate (1) gradually shortens as the position height of the screenings pickup (3) increases.
