    摘要: A liquid jet propelled transporter and launcher toy is provided, which comprises:

    a) a launcher 1 having a housing 3 which includes a reservoir 7 for holding liquid therein and a jet tube receiver 27 adapted to receive a jet tube 77 of a transporter 61;
    b) a pump connected to said housing capable of pumping liquid to reservoir 7;
    c) a one way valve 49 connected to said pump permitting flow of liquid only from said pump to reservoir 7;
    d) a transporter latch mechanism 55,57;
    e) a means 53 for releasing said latch mechanism;
    f) a transporter 61 which includes a propulsion container 65 for receiving liquid and air under pressure from reservoir 7, a jet tube 77 extending from propulsion container 65 and adapted to fit onto the receiver 27, and a simulated transporter structure 63 attached to said propulsion container 65;
       wherein jet tube 77 may be located over receiver 27, the latch 55,57 holding transporter 61 in place thereon in a releasable fashion, further wherein liquid may be stored within and pumped from reservoir 7 to propulsion container 65 of transporter 61 by actuating said pump and further wherein a substantial positive air pressure may be created within reservoir 7 and propulsion container 65, after which transporter 61 may be released and may advance away by jet propulsion of the liquid and air.

    摘要: An expandable bladder toy water gun (1) is provided. It includes a main housing (3) having a barrel (9), a water ejection nozzle (11), a handle (5), a trigger (7), a water storage tank (33), a hand pump (45) as well as an inflatable bladder (13) connected to the main housing (3). The pump (45) is connected to both the tank (33) and the bladder (13). There is a bladder release valve (31) with an upstream side connected to the bladder (13) and a downstream side connected to the nozzle (11) for water ejection when the trigger (7) is pulled. The elasticity of the bladder (13) is used as the motive force for liquid ejection. The bladder is a tubular member which has a section (91) of weakened elastic strength relative to the remainder of the member. In one embodiment, the bladder has a variable diameter, larger at its front end and smaller at its back end. In another embodiment, the bladder has a constant diameter with a wall thickness gradient. The nozzle (11) includes a turbulence control member (213) for enhanced laminar flow ejection which control member has a plurality of linear stream guidance walls.

    摘要: The invention involves a water gun (1; 101) having at least one pressurizable air/water storage tank (13; 188, 189) and a release mechanism including a plug valve (35; 135). The release mechanism also has a first spring (37; 137) connected to the plug valve which biases the plug valve to a closed position. There is also a delay spring (61; 161) located within a linkage (53, 55, 57, 59, 61, 153, 155, 157, 159, 161) that overcomes the forces of the first spring (37; 137) and internal water pressure holding the plug valve closed, such that the plug valve snaps open and there is rapid decrease of water pressure causing a burst of water to exit the water gun. When the delay spring can no longer overcome the internal pressure, the plug valve snaps closed. This creates a controllable burst and a realistic trigger release.
